Mi monstruo y yo, es la historia de un joven y solitario chaval escocés llamado Angus MacMorrow que anhela que su padre regrese de la guerra. La historia comienza cuando Angus lleva a casa un misterioso objeto encantado que encuentra en la playa. Pronto se da cuenta de que se trata de un huevo mágico, y se ve a sí mismo criando a una criatura sorprendente: el mítico “Monstruo Del Lago” de las leyendas escocesas. En su intento por intentar ocultar a su amigo, a quien llama Cruose, y crear un vínculo y amistad con él, Angus emprende un viaje de descubrimientos, debiendo proteger un secreto que dará vida a una leyenda.
