Los Fabulosos Cadillacs es una banda proveniente de Buenos Aires, Argentina. Se formó en 1985 originalmente con el nombre de “Cadillacs 57″ y como una banda de ska, vistiendo al estilo de Madness o de The Specials, sus principales influencias en los primeros años del grupo. Los Fabulosos Cadillacs es una de las bandas más influyentes y exitosas del llamado “rock latino”. Lograron tocar diversas mezclas de estilos aparte del rock (que era su principal estilo): ska, jazz, salsa, tango, samba, reggae y cumbia, entre otros.
Despues de su la disolucion del grupo en el 2002 y Luego de 6 años de separación, Los Fabulosos Cadillacs confirmaron oficialmente su reunión. Dentro de las actividades que la banda tiene preparadas para esta histórica reunión, está la grabación de un disco unplugged con la cadena MTV, un nuevo disco llamado La luz del ritmo, así como varios recitales por toda América Latina. En una entrevista con MTV, adelantaron que sacarían el volumen dos de su nuevo disco y lo titularán El ritmo de la luz. Dicho album se publico el pasado mes de Octubre y se incluye en esta excelente discografia.
